Wear your dance clothes with a warmup over top to keep your muscles warm.

Brows: Fill in your brows so they don’t get lost under the bright lights
Face: A heavy layer of foundation will be needed no matter how good your skin is. Also, a bright or deep blush applied to the apples of your cheeks and lightly swept back.
Eyes: Make sure to apply a light (usually white) color right under your brows. Then use a light color on the inner half of your eyelids and a dark color on the outer half. Line eyes with a dark brown or black eyeliner. Top off with mascara and false lashes if required.
Lips: Apply lipliner if needed and fill lips with a deep (not bright) red or brownish red. Mattes work the best for a recital type performance. Ballroom allows for a glossy lip usually.
For Auditions:
